My research interests are centered on interrogating the links between law-enforcement institutions, police, and race.
At the moment, I research the ways in which the police influence race-making processes and especially the production of whiteness within two national contexts, France and Brazil.
More broadly, I am interested in the production of state (racial) violence. Drawing from my background in urban studies, my research frames particularly integrate a spatial lens of analysis.
I am in the process of publishing a paper in the journal Policing & Society, related to my LSE's MSc Dissertation, which was awarded Best Dissertation Prize for my programme (Msc Urbanisation and Development, November 2020)
